BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Bridgewater College women's cross country team swept the podium in the Eagles Cross COuntry Challenge on home soil this afternoon.
Taylor Myers,
Mackenzie Young and
Emily Smeds took the top three places in the 4k event all finishing under the 15:30 mark.
Meyers took the top spot with a time of 15:06.56. Young and Smeds finished second and third respectively, hitting the line with times of 15:17.96 and 15:26.46 respectively.
Megan Wimmer was the fourth Eagle to score as she hit the line at the 17:08.95 mark in the No. 13 position, while
Paige Hiserman rounded out the scoring with a time of 17:38.55.
The Eagles are back in action on Friday Sep. 13 at the CNU Invitational.
