uLEXINGTON, Va.- The Bridgewater College equestrian team finished second at the ODAC Traditional Championships on Friday.
The Eagles opened with the first round over fences.
Willow Wright led the way with an 87.5 for BC, but in total BC stood in fourth as a team.Â
BC started closing in during the second round over fences as
Madeleine Granger scored an 81.75 to anchor the third-best team performance in the round.
Bridgewater made headway in the flat portion of the event as
Margaret Brown and Wright both showed out. Brown earned an 81.5 while Wright registered an 84.5 for the best score as a team in the fround. BC closed in on Lynchburg, but the Hornets defended their ODAC crown by just two team points.Â
For their efforts, Granger and Wright earned All-ODACÂ honors.
