Jade Buckles of the Bridgewater College field hockey team has been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Region VI Second Team for her efforts during the 2025 campaign.
Buckles anchored the Eagles' defensive unit on her way to a second consecutive nod to the All-ODAC first team. The senior started 17 games for BC and had numerous defensive stops and blocked shots. Buckles also got involved offensively on penalty corners this season, registering her first collegiate goal and assist in her fourth season in Crimson and Gold. She also concludes her four-year career in the top 10 in program history in games played.
The Eagles concluded the 2025 season with an 8-10 record with three overtime losses on the way to the fifth seed in the ODAC Tournament under first-year head coach
