BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Bridgewater College men's tennis team blanked Mary Baldwin 7-0 on Tuesday.
Matthew Leonard and
Corey Beshoar opened the day with a quick 6-0 win at the top spot.
Eli Morela and
Mark Gordon picked up a 6-1 victory at the No. 2 spot to clinch the doubles point, while
Logan Garner and
Coree Nicely won 6-2 at the No. 3 spot.
Leonard rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 victory at the top spot to open singles play, while Beshoar added a 7-5, 6-2 victory at the No. 2 spot. Gordon cruised to a 6-1, 6-4 victory at the No. 3 slot, and
Steven Perry cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win at the No. 4 spot. Morela rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 win at the No. 5 slot. Nicely was last on court as he battled his way to a 6-1, 4-6, 10-6 victory at the No. 6 slot.
The Eagles are back in action on Wednesday, April 16 at 4 p.m.
