SALEM, Va. - Bridgewater women's swimming fell to Roanoke on the road by a final total of 142-117 Saturday.
Despite a challenging head-to-head dual meet with the Maroons, there were bright spots from the day, including four individual event winners.
Grace Warren dominated the field in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a 20-second finish from the second-place swimmer for a finished time of 11:42.34.
McKenna Curry lit a spark in both of her individual events with impressive times of 2:23.46 in the 200 Free and 1:02.30 in the 100 Fly.
To wrap up the highlights from the day, Tessa Gorby also clocked a first-place time in the meet in the 50 Free for a time of 25.45.
The Eagles will next compete at home against Sweet Briar on Jan. 24 at 1 p.m.
