OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Bridgewater College women's tennis team blanked Stevenson 7-0 on Friday evening.

BC started by taking the doubles point. Macy Harris and Aylin Humpherys teamed up for a 6-1 win at No. 3 to start the action. Sarah Slagle and Regan Witt followed shortly after as a 6-4 win at the top spot secured the doubles point for the Eagles.

Bridgewater rolled in singles play. Witt, Brooke Hess and Humpherys all cruised to wins at the No. 3, No. 5 and No. 6 spots without dropping more than three games each to secure the team victory. Harris won a tight battle on court No. 2 by a 6-4, 6-4 scoreline to continue the Bridgewater momentum. Carson Cale and Slagle each had their matches go past the advertised distance. Cale dropped the opening set 4-6, before roaring back to take the second 6-1. The match tiebreak that followed was thrilling. Cale battled through it and took it 11-9 to take the win at No. 4. Slagle's match at the top spot was a thriller as well. Slagle took the opening stanza 6-2, but dropped the second 4-6. The match was sent to a match tiebreak and did not disappoint. Slagle emerged victorious 13-11 in the tiebreak, securing a 7-0 BC sweep.

BC is back in action with a pair of matches tomorrow on the road in Pennsylvania.
