FISHERSVILLE, Va. - The Bridgewater College women's tennis team blanked Marymount 7-0 on Friday evening at the Augusta Health Fitness Center.

BC opened by sweeping the doubles action. Olivia Eisenman and Macy Harris rolled at the No. 2 spot with a 6-0 victory to start action. Sarah Slagle and Regan Witt secured the doubles point with a 6-1 vtcory at the top spot, while the rookie duo of Cami Taylor and Brooke Hess complete the sweep with a 6-2 victory at the No. 3 spot. 

Eisenman kept her clean sheet rolling in singles play with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 2. Slagle was next off the court as she fended off a late charge to win 6-1, 6-4 at the top spot. Harris kept the winning going as she picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 3. The bottom half of the Eagles' ladder continued the momentum. Witt cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory at the No. 4 spot, while Taylor picked up a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 5. Cale completed the sweep with a clean sheet at No. 6, picking up a 6-0, 6-0 victory. 

The Eagles are back in action next Friday at Stevenson on Oct. 2 to open a weekend road trip.
