BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Bridgewater College women's tennis team fell to Pfeiffer 7-0 in its spring opener on Wednesday.

The Falcons took the doubles point after sweepin the action across all three courts. The highlights came at the top two spots as Sarah Slagle teamed with Regan Witt at No. 1 and Macey Harris teamed with Kira Doyne at No. 2. The duos each fell 1-6.

In singles play, BC's top duo each started strong dropping the opening set 3-6 on court one and three respectively. Slagle and Witt each ended up dropping their matches with identical 3-6, 1-6 scorelines. Harris also put up a fight for the Eagles at the No. 4 spot before falling 1-6, 1-6.

BC is back in action on March 2 against Mt. Vernon Nazarene in Hilton head, S.C.
