SALEM, Va. - The Bridgewater College men's tennis team fell to Roanoke 7-0 on Saturday.
The Maroons jumped out first by sweeping doubles play to take the doubles point. BC's best fight came at the top spot as
Corey Beshoar and Eli Entminger fell 2-6.
Beshoar gave the Eagles life in singles play as he took the opening set 6-4 at the top spot. Roanoke turned the tides quickly by winning the second set 2-6 and winning the third-set tiebreak 2-10. Levi Wiadelich gave BC a good fight at the No. 4 spot as he fell 4-6, 1-6.
Coree Nicely also battled at the No. 6 spot as he fell 2-6, 4-6.Â
The Eagles are back in action in March 25 at Immaculata and Neumann.
