BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Bridgewater College men's golf team has been slotted at No. 28 in the latest Division III Clippd golf rankings which marks the highest ranking in program history announced Wednesday.

In the spring the men have impressed in both spring tournaments with a second-place finish at the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational and a first-place finish at the Music City Shootout. In total this season including the fall, the Eagles have won three tournaments. At the Music City Shootout, the men shot an even par at 288 to roll to a tournament victory and win with the largest margin in program history of 21 strokes.

Brandon Washburn has had two back-to-back top-five finishes this spring including shooting a three under par in the first round at the Pfeiffer Spring Invitational.

The Eagles will resume action on April 3-4 at the Spring Thaw hosted by Oswego State.
