BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater Women's cross country team opened its season with a second place finish in its home meet.

Olivia Morra started quick and finished second with a time of 16:39.9.

BC's next three finishers came one after another with Shiloh Thompson, Paige Hiserman, and Faith Shields placing 11^th, 12^th, and 13^th all under a time of 19:52.8. Hannah Knudson rounded out BC's scorers with a time of 20:44.2 in 18^th place.

Bridgewater is back on the trail at the Shenandoah Twilight on Sept. 11.
