BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater College men's soccer team fell to Gettysburg 1-0 despite controlling the offensive chances Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
- The two sides battled through a scoreless opening half. Bridgewater and Gettysburg each registered four shots, with Riley Queen putting the Eagles' lone shot on goal of the period in the 40th minute.
- Bridgewater turned up the pressure after the break. Queen and Trey Widrick each forced saves from Gettysburg goalkeeper Topher Kelley before Esteban Guarin put another attempt on frame in the 64th minute.
- Gettysburg broke the deadlock at the 64:03 mark as Diallo found the back of the net from deep to give the Bullets a 1-0 advantage.
- The Eagles continued to push for the equalizer, generating 13 shots in the second half. Widrick, Queen and Anthony Medrano each put attempts on goal down the stretch, while Queen nearly leveled the match in the 85th minute with a shot off the crossbar.
- As the Eagles worked their way into the box as time was running out, a shot with three seconds remaining from Lucio Bianchi just barely missed the plane as time expired. Gettysburg survived for the 1-0 victory.
