Taylor Davis is entering his fourth season as Bridgewater's assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.

Bridgewater reached the ODAC semifinal round in 2021, beating Roanoke in the opening round and ultimately coming two runs short of the championship series. BC had one player each named to the ABCA All-Region and VaSID All-State squads.

The Eagles went 11-4 in his first season at BC, with Jacob Talley and Jarrett Biesecker earning All-State recognition.

Davis has gained valuable coaching experience over the past several years.

He spent the past season as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at DeSales University where he was involved in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the baseball program. Davis coached the hitters and outfielders and served as the team's third base coach. He also was heavily involved in the recruiting process, identifying and evaluating prospects and scheduling campus visits.

Prior to DeSales, Davis spent one season as a volunteer assistant at Division I George Mason University. Davis' primary duties included coaching hitters and outfielders and serving as the team's first base coach on game day.

Davis worked two seasons as the graduate assistant coach on Coach Spotts' staff at Eastern Mennonite University. Davis coached hitters and outfielders and served as bench coach on game day. He was also the head coach for the EMU developmental program.

Davis also worked as pitching coach in the Valley Baseball League for the Staunton Braves for two summers where he coached eight players who were selected in Major League Baseball draft.

Davis played his college baseball at Ferrum College as a first baseman and lefthanded pitcher. He was a four-year letter winner and a four-time selection to the USA South Academic All-Conference team. Davis played on the 2014 USA South championship team.

Davis graduated from Ferrum with a bachelor's degree in history and social studies. He received his master's in interdisciplinary studies from Eastern Mennonite University in 2017.
