Marcus Anderson enters his fourth season with the Bridgewater College men's basketball coaching staff in 2021-22.

The Eagles closed the 2019-20 regular season by winning three of their final four games to clinch an ODAC playoff spot on the final day of the regular season. Chandler Murray and Davrion Grier were both named to the All-ODAC team.

Anderson is a 2018 graduate of Lees-McRae College where he played basketball. He was a part of the 2018 Conference Carolinas championship team and the program's first-ever NCAA tournament berth, recording the most wins in school history. 

An honors student at Lees-McRae, Anderson graduated with a degree in business administration and sports administration. He was named to the conference's all-academic team and was involved with SAAC during his college career.

While in college, Anderson worked with the Under Armour Association as an intern.

A native of the Hampton Roads area, Anderson played at Norfolk Collegiate School where the team was ranked among the Top 10 in the state. Anderson was an all-conference performer while in high school.
