Kevin Metzger joined the Bridgewater men's lacrosse staff as a volunteer assistant coach in 2021.

Bridgewater reached the ODAC semifinals for the first time ever in 2021, beating Roanoke in the first round of the playoffs. The Eagles had an All-American for the third straight year (attack Eric Husselbaugh), their first USILA Senior All-Star Game participant (midfielder Justin Calabrese) and earned six total selections to the All-ODAC squad.

Metzger played for the Eagles from 2015-18, and was a two-year starting goalie.

For his career, he was 15-14 in the cage with a 10.63 GAA, 344 saves and a save percentage of 54.3. He graduated as the program's career leader in GAA.
