The Eagles (5-9, 3-3 ODAC) won the first two sets - 25-19, 25-18
but the Hornets took the third set with a 17-25 win. Both
teams battled in the third, before Lynchburg won 22-25. The
Hornets took the fifth game with a 14-16 win.
Bridgewater was paced offensively by Erika Dirnagl and Katie
Baker who each finished with 13 kills. Senior setter Tricia
Davis contributed 42 assists. Davis is now only 29 assists
away from becoming BC's all-time assist leader.
The Eagles are back in action on Saturday, October 3, at 3:00
p.m. vs. ODAC foe Emory & Henry.
