The Bridgewater volleyball team lost to W & L in three straight in the first game of the Bridgewater Inviational Tournament on Friday evening.  The game also qualified as an ODAC contest.

The Eagles lost by scores of 19-25, 16-25, 9-25.  BC was led by sophomore Ashley Scott (South Riding/Heritage) in kills with six and digs with 11.  Junior Katie Baker (Strasburg, VA/Strasburg) and senior Candice Guy (Fishersville, VA/Wilson Memorial) each had five kills.  Freshman Lindsay Kallam (Virginia Beach, VA/Princess Anne) had 18 assists on the night.

The Eagles record is now 6-7 overall, 1-2 in the ODAC. 

In the second game of the evening Frostburg State defeated Philadelphia Biblical in three straight, 25-8, 25-13, 25-13.

The Invitational tournament continues on Saturday with BC versus FSU, and W & L versus PBU at noon.  At 2:00 BC will face Philadelphia Biblical and W & L will take on Frostburg.
