ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The College of New Jersey blanked the Bridgewater College Eagles, 7-0, Saturday on the first day of the Elizabethtown College women's soccer classic.

TCNJ was ranked No. 3 in the nation a year ago after losing in the NCAA DIvision III tournament and the Lions were ranked No. 3 in the 2010 preseason poll/

The Lions took the lead with a goal in the opening 10 minutes and overwhelmed the Eagles the remainder of the contest.

Brenna Rubino finished with a hat trick and Jessica Davila added a pair of goals to lead the Lions offense. TCNJ led 5-0 at the half.

The Eagles, now 1-1 on the season, return to action Sunday when they face Elizabethtown.
