LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Bridgewater College volleyball team evened its record with a 3-0 victory Tuesday night over Sweet Briar College in ODAC volleyball action. The Eagles won by scores of 25-21, 25-11, 25-12.

"The Eagles had a great team effort with everyone seeing significant playing time," Bridgewater head coach Greg Spector said. "Our freshmen and sophomore continue to impress. Most importantly, we were able to rest our injured."

Ashley Scott led the Eagles with nine kills while Lindsay Kallam dished out 14 assists. Casey O'Leary finished with 10 digs and Cadie Castle added six service aces.

The Eagles, now 3-3 overall and 1-0 in the ODAC, return to action Wednesday night at Nininger Hall when they entertain Mary Baldwin College in non-conference action. The match is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
