LEXINGTON, Ky. - The Bridgewater College riding team tied for fifth place as the IHSA National Show drew to a close Saturday at the Kentucky Horse Park.
The Eagles failed to score in Saturday's final two events in the open division. Shelby Goodman placed 10th in Open Over Fences while Taylor Rose finished seventh in Open On the Flat to just miss finishing in the points. The top six riders score.
Centenary College won the IHSA National Title with 33 points. Skidmore and St. Lawrence tied for second with 22 points each with Mount Holyoke third with 16 points. Savannah College of Art & Design placed fourth with 12 points, just one point ahead of Bridgewater and the University of Kentucky.
Scoring points for the Eagles during the three day show were Allyson Gallamore (second in Walk-Trot), Lindsey Goode (third in Novice On The Flat) and Taylor Rose (fifth in Intermediate Over Fences).
