Box Score 2 OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Senior outside hitter Katie Long was named to the All-Tournament Team of the Stevenson Invitational on Saturday in Student Union Gym. The Eagles fell to the host school in the first match of the day 3-0, but picked up a 3-0 victory against Ursinus to close out the afternoon.
Stevenson defeated the Eagles by scores of 25-13, 25-15, and 25-12.
Bridgewater's Casey O'Leary notched 12 digs and freshman Nikki Snyder tallied nine in the loss. Setter Lindsay Kallam recorded 10 assists to help pace the Bridgewater offense.
The Mustangs defeated the Eagles with 12 kills and a .355 hitting percentage from Christine Isenberg. Stevenson also notched 53 team in a solid defensive effort.
Bridgewater earned the daily split with a 25-9, 25-17, 25-15 victory, while Ursinus dropped to 3-4.
Long, tallying 10 kills and a hitting percentage of .474, helped lead the Eagles to the victory. Setter Kylie Graham recorded 18 assists and six digs in the win.
From the back row, O'Leary led the way with 11 digs, while Snyder finished with five.
Ursinus was paced offensively by a pair of players with six kills each.
The Eagles first ODAC match is set for Wednesday, September 12 on the campus of Randolph-Macon College at 7 p.m.
