Box Score ST. MARY'S, Md. - Salisbury took the lead with a late first-half goal and held on during a scoreless second half to defeat Bridgewater College, 2-1, at the Seahawks Classic.
The Seagulls scored first when Matt Greene cleaned up a loose ball in the box and found the back of the net for a 1-0 Salisbury lead.
The Eagles evened the score in the 24th minute when Max Chacon scored off an assist from Adrian Zamora.
Salisbury answered in the 39th minute when Jake Perry passed the ball from the end line to Kevin Miller in the center of the box and Miller scored from 15 yards out for a 2-1 Seagulls lead.
Bridgewater managed to put just two shots on goal in the second half as Salisbury held on for the 2-1 victory.
The Eagles are now 2-2 on the season.
