WINCHESTER, Va. - Luke Hill's 77 led the way for the Eagles as the Bridgewater College men's golf team opened up play at the Shenandoah Invitational.
After opening the season with two rounds of 300 or under at the Tom Kinder Memorial, the Eagles shot 319 to sit in 11th place out of 15 competing teams.
Luke Hill's 77 is good for t-19th place overall. Jeremy Pannebaker shot an 8-over 79 to tie for 34th place on Sunday.
Ocean Armstrong shot 81 and freshman Ronald Uszenski, after his outstanding collegiate opener as an individual, shot 82 in his first round as part of the scoring group.
Eugene Dillon shot 84 to round out Bridgewater's team.
Hampden-Sydney set the pace with a team score of 286, including the top three individuals in Alex Simmons (70), Aaron Persily (71) and Bruce Shober (71).
The Eagles will resume final round play tomorrow at the par-71 Winchester Country Club.
