The first set was back-and-fourth, neither team held a comforatable lead at all during the set. BC went on a 6-0 rally to make the score 9-3, riding out the serve of Frey on an attack by Clark and four Hornets errors. Later in the set, four errors by Bridgewater let Shenandoah tie it up at 20. BC took a more comforatable lead in set two after a 7-0 rally, which included two service aces from Wilson to put them up 21-11. The Hornets responded with three straight points, but were never able to recover, losing the set 25-16.

Bridgewater was strong all-around in set three, and were able to control a strong lead throughout the set on Shenandoah errors. Studtmann had six attacks in the final set, and Haynes added a service ace.
