ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - Eugene Dillon again led the Eagles, as BC's men's golf team opened play at the McDaniel Spring Invitational.
Coming off his first career top-five finish earlier this week, where he placed third overall at the Marlin Invitational, Dillon shot 76 to lead the Eagles on Saturday. He sits in a tie for sixth place overall.
Bridgewater shot 316 to tie for seventh place after round one, but sits just two strokes back of a three-team logjam in fourth place.
Ronald Uszenski (79), Luke Hill (80) and Ocean Armstrong (81) all finished within a stroke of each other on Saturday's opening round.
Sophomore Michael Gruver (84) rounded out the Eagles' group.
Hosts McDaniel lead the team competition with a 307, with the Green Terror's Brian Norwitz (73) tied for the individual lead.
