ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - The Bridgewater College men's golf team rose three spots to fourth place, on the final day of competition at the McDaniel Spring Invitational.
Bridgewater shot 318 as a team, two strokes higher than Saturday's score. However, on a colder, rainier day, it was enough to lift the Eagles from a tie for seventh up to fourth place.
Ronald Uszenski shot a team-best 75 to surge into fourth place overall at 10-over for the tournament.
Uszenski birdied the par-5 8th hole as he played the front-nine at just 1-over.
Ocean Armstrong was one shot back of Uszenski on Sunday with a 76, and his two-day score of 157 tied him for 15th place overall.
Armstrong birdied the par-5 15th on both days of the tournament.
Eugene Dillon, who had made par on the first seven holes on Saturday, carded an 83 on Sunday to finish in 24th place.
Luke Hill shot 84 and Michael Gruver carded an 85 on Sunday.
