FOREST, Va. - Bridgewater College junior Ocean Armstrong was announced as a second team All-Conference pick at last night's ODAC golf banquet.
Armstrong led the Eagles with a scoring average of 76.0, which ranked 16th in the conference heading into ODAC tournament play.
The junior was named the ODAC Player of the Week earlier this month after shooting a career-best 67 at the Marine Corps Intercollegiate.
He had three top-five finishes this season, including fourth place performances at the Ted Keller Memorial (75-75=150) and Marlin Invitational (79-73=152).
Armstrong was third overall at the Roanoke Invitational with a 149, his second best two-day tournament score of the season after a 147 at Bridgewater's Tom Kinder Memorial.
This is the first career All-ODAC honor for Armstrong, who is currently tied for fourth place at the ODAC championships with one round to go.
Hampden-Sydney's Parker Smith was named the ODAC Golfer of the Year.
