LANCASTER, PA. - The Bridgewater College men's track and field team competed in its first meet after a month-long break at the Coach I Open hosted by Franklin & Marshall on Saturday.
Junior Davonta Womack earned a first-place finish in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.97, which currently sits first in the ODAC. Womack also finished second in the long jump with a distance of 6.80m (22'3.75").
Junior Brandon Christian also grabbed a top five finish in the long jump, earning fourth at 6.51m (21'4.5").
In the 200 meter, junior Alex Galloway finished second with a time of 22.85.
Junior Ian Vest represented Bridgewater in the 800 meter run, finishing ninth at 2:09.16.
Chase Rosenthal and Elijah Waters finished second and third in the 60 meter hurdles at 8.62 and 8.98, respectively.
Rosenthal also finished second in the triple jump at 13.20m (43'3.75")
Sophomore Rashon Davis represented the Eagles in the high jump, finishing seventh, clearing 1.80m (5'10.75").
Senior Jordon Weatherwax was ninth in the pole vault at 3.65m (11'11.75")
The Eagles return to action in two weeks on Jan. 26 at the Finn Pincus Invitational in Salem, Va.
