WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The sun came out for the second round of the Glenn Heath Memorial hosted by The Apprentice School at Williamsburg Golf Club on Tuesday. After a cold first round the Eagles looked to capitalize on better conditions, but the team score went up five shots to 327, which dropped them back to sixth place in a field of 15 teams.

Freshman Jason Spaar led the way on Tuesday finishing with two birdies in his final four holes to shoot 79. Spaar played steadily most of the round, and just had a few errant wedge shots that prevented a lower score.

Senior Jeremy Pannebaker also shot 79 and made a birdie on the par-3 12th hole. Similar to the rest of the squad, Pannebaker played some solid golf early in the day but gave up a few shots in the middle of the round.

Ronald Uszenski provided the third score for the Eagles, an 83. Uszenski let the way for Bridgewater on Monday, but had some issues with his putting in the final round.

The final score for the squad was a tie by seniors Ocean Armstrong and Jake Norby, who both posted 86. Armstrong started the round with birdies on his first two holes.

Playing as an individual, junior Eugene Dillon shot 81, a 10-shot improvement from the first round.

Virginia Wesleyan shot a team score of 301 on Tuesday to overtake Randolph-Macon for the victory.
