BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Washington and Lee defeated Bridgewater 6-0 Friday in women's tennis action played indoors at the Doug Will Tennis Center.

W&L's Taylor Garcia and Georgia Wright defeated Whitney Kiser and Nicole Shifflett 8-3 to take the point at No. 1 doubles. The Generals won the 
No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches without losing a game.

Wright turned back Kiser 6-4, 6-3 to win at No. 1 singles. W&L's Mary Hampton McNeal downed Shifflett 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Gabby Moore defeated Rachel Crawford 6-0, 6-0 to complete the scoring.

The final three singles flights were not played.
