HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Bridgewater College volleyball team swept crosstown rival Eastern Mennonite 3-0 on Friday night in Harrisonburg to conclude the regular season.

• Final Score: Bridgewater 3, Eastern Mennonite 0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-18)
• Records: Bridgewater (13-12, 7-4 ODAC), Eastern Mennonite (9-12, 7-4 ODAC)
• This is the second time this season the Eagles have swept the Royals with the first win coming on September 4

How It Happened

• The Eagles stormed out to take set one in commanding fashion, 25-16, behind five kills from Ashley Casey and three a piece from Lisa O'Grady and Lauren Nofsinger while holding the Royals to a .000 hitting percentage
• The crosstown rivals traded points in the second set until Bridgewater was able to pull away 15-8 behind four kills from Johnson in a ten-point stretch. The Eagles held the edge and took the set 25-18 on an O'Grady kill to take a 2-0 advantage.
• Bridgewater was able to string together several service runs in set three to gain and hold on to the lead. Johnson and Grace Hayes sealed the win on a block.

Match Notes

• Casey led the way for the Eagles with 13 kills to go with nine digs
• O'Grady posted 11 kills while Madeline Walker had 12 digs
• Hayes had 38 assists and 10 digs for the double-double
