BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Bridgewater College women's basketball team scored 100 points for the first time since the 2015-2016 on Wednesday night as they defeated the Apprentice School 102-66.

How It Happened

• Bridgewater held a ten-point edge at the end of the first half after recording 13 total rebounds in the frame compared to the Builders six. Eight different Eagles contributed points in the first frame
• Reagan Maynard paced Bridgewater in the second quarter with six points and six rebounds as the Eagles held a 45-25 advantage at halftime
• Despite Apprentice having their best offensive quarter in the third, the Eagles substantial first half lead and ten Jaden Alsberry buckets kept the momentum in Bridgewater's favor
• The Eagles bench stepped in the final frame with Mya Olmeda posting eight points and four rebounds and Noelle Horton adding seven points and three rebounds for the final 102-66 victory

Match Notes

• This is the first time the Eagles have scored over 100 points in a victory since November 20, 2015 in a 100-54 win over Mary Baldwin
• Alsberry had a team-high 16 points to go with four rebounds, three assists and two steals
• India Dailey (11), Olmeda (11), Maynard (8), Jessie Wiles (5), Rosemary Pierson (15) and Horton (9) all scored a career-high number of points
• Pierson contributed seven rebounds followed by Maynard with six
