BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Bridgewater College women's tennis team picked up a 9-0 victory over Marymount on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles came out of the gate sweeping on all three doubles. Freshman Grace Knighton and sophomore Ryan Roeber teamed up for an 8-0 victory at the No. 3 slot. Fifth year senior Rachel Crawford and junior Malena Hoover picked up a 8-2 victory at the No. 2 spot. Junior duo of Ali Keister and Emma Nesselrodt capped off the sweep with a 8-1 win at the top spot.

The Eagles continued to roll when it came to singles. Nesselrodt was the first off at the No. 5 spot with a 6-0, 6-0 win. Sophomore Emily Wylie subbed in at the No. 6 spot and made quick work with a 6-0, 6-1 win. Crawford was the next off of the court after she picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win at the No.2 slot. Hoover added a win at the No. 4 slot 6-1, 6-1. Senior Emily Daigneault did not drop a game in her victory at the No. 3 spot 6-0, 6-0. Keister was the last off the court at the top spot on the ladder as she picked up a 6-1, 6-3 win.

The Eagles will finish up their fall season as they will compete in the ITA Southeast Regional Tournament Sept. 25-27.
