WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Bridgewater College men's and women's track & field team wrapped up its weekend at the JDL Fast Track on Saturday morning.
In field events for the women,
Cassidy Oliver led a trio of Eagles consisting of
Jade Buckles and
Kylah Gray in the triple jump as Oliver finished with a best leap of 10.03 meters (32' 11.00"). Buckles and Gray were close behind.
On the men's side,
Peter Fulton was the top Division III finisher in the shot put with a best mark of 14.15 meters (46' 5.25"), which is his best mark of the season. He finished 11th out of 36 competitors.
Tony Nesslerodt saw a 12.02 meter (39' 5.25") throw as well.
Aaron Moon and
Anthony Matthews both hovered around a top 10 finish in the triple jump with Moon leaping 12.59 meters (41' 3.75") and Matthews 12.55 meters (41' 2.25").
Calvin Hulleman ran a 2:02.63 in the 800-meter run to round out the competition for the Eagles.
Bridgewater returns to action next weekend for the Joe LaRocco Invitational, hosted by Roanoke, on Feb. 11.
