BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater College Department of Athletics has partnered with Bojangles to be its Official Tailgating Sponsor for the 2023 season.
 
Bojangles will be on location in the Mapp Field tailgating area for two games this season, including the season-opener this Saturday, Sept. 2, against Susquehanna.
 
For this coming Saturday, Bojangles will have a tent at the front of the Mapp Field tailgating lot and will be providing free giveaways including can koozies, coupons for the store, and Bojangles tailgating shirts. The giveaways will be around while supplies and are first come, first serve. The tent will also host games of cornhole throughout the early afternoon.
 
In addition to the product giveaways, Bojangles will be selling Cajun biscuits, sausage biscuits, tea/water, plus BoBerry Biscuits.
 
Bojangles is providing free sandwiches to the first 100 Bridgewater students that arrive at the tent with the free giveaway beginning at 12 pm until the sandwiches are gone. Bojangles' mascot Big Bo will be on hand for photo ops and to enjoy the pregame environment that Bridgewater tailgates provide each and every week.
 
Bojangles will return to the Mapp Field tailgating area prior to the football team's contest with Randolph-Macon on Oct. 14 during Hall of Fame Weekend.
