BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- The expected Bridgewater College field hockey game with Wooster scheduled for today at 1 pm has been canceled due to inclement weather.

The Eagles and Fighting Scots were ready to play as opening announcements took place, but due to lightning in the area, both teams and spectators had to vacate the area. After over an hour long delay and storms still in the forecast, the decision was made to not play the game.

Bridgewater is set to be in action tomorrow, September 10, at 1 pm against Cedar Crest, but with more potential storms in the area, updates will be provided if the game is moved
