Box Score DANVILLE, Va. – The Bridgewater College women's tennis team fell to No. 50 Averett 9-0 on Friday on the road.
Averett opened up by sweeping the doubles action BC got their best fights fro the No.1 and No. 3 spots where the duos of
Emma Nesselrodt and
Jolexie Whetzel along with
Emma Staton and
Raea Crabill fell 3-8.
The Cougars continued to roll in singles action, but BC got its best fight from the bottom of the ladder. Crabill jumped in front 5-1 in the opening set before dropping it 5-7 and ultimately ended up dropping the second set 1-6.
BC is back in action on Wednesday as the squad has to Lynchburg to take on Randolph.
