SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Bridgewater College Men's Cross Country team finished 14th in the Upstate XC Invitational in a field mixed with all levels of talent.
Gabe Miller was the first Eagle across the finish line with a time of 26:49.7 in the 8k race to crack the top 100.
Gavin Diehl was the second finisher for BC with a time of 27:10.6, while
Malakai Wettig was closely behind with a 27:23.1.
Grayson Jacquez and
Ryder Rose rounded out the scoring for the Eagles with times of 27:43.7 and 28:05.9, respectively, in the competitive field.
The Eagles were the highest finishing Div. III school in the event, and defeated Div. I's Wofford.
BC is back in action as it hosts the ODAC Championships on Nov. 1.Â
