BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The 2026 Bridgewater College Cross Country season is only a few weeks away from opening with the Eagle XC Challenge on Sept. 1 here in Bridgewater.

Head coach Lance Harden has scheduled a total of five regular season meets before opening the post-season in Winchester, Va.

The Eagles will open the regular season with their home meet on Sept. 1.

In the following weeks, the Eagles will travel to Winchester, Va., and Earlysville, Va for the Shenandoah Twilight and South Region Preview, respectively hosted by the Hornets of Shenandoah University and the University of Lynchburg.

Just before Fall Break, the Eagles head to Mechanicsville, Va., to compete in the Richmond Invitational.

The regular season will conclude with the Roanoke XC Invitational on Oct. 17. Be sure to follow along throughout the season on the athletics website and social media.
