BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater College men's cross country team kicked off its season with a solid second-place finish at their home meet on Tuesday.
Leading the charge for the Eagles was
Gavin Diehl, who secured the individual title in the 6K with a time of 20:13.0.
Grayson Jacquez was not far behind, taking third place with a strong 20:29.9 finish.
Next up for Bridgewater was
Brandon Adamson, finishing 11th with a time of 21:51.6. First-Years
Asher Kite and
Lucas Hornbaker rounded out the scoring, placing 19th and 26th overall with times of 22:34.0 and 23:12.1, respectively.
Milton Blandburg and
Alex Gomez finalized the Eagles' runners with times of 23:29.0 and 24:03.2, respectively.
The team will be back in action at the Shenandoah Twilight on Sept. 11.
