BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Head coach Colton Frey announced the 2025 inaugural men's volleyball schedule, as the men are set to begin the first ever season at Bridgewater in January 2026. 

"Getting the opportunity to travel for the first month of the season is going to equip us to hit the ground running in conference," said men's volleyball head coach Colton Frey. "I am really excited for our home opener in February and for us to host a quality tri-match in front of the best fans in the ODAC." 

The much-anticipated season kicks off with a season opening matchup against Geneva (Pa.) in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Friday, Jan. 16. The squad will then keep the weekend going with matchups against Bethany in Bethany, W.Va., and Chatham later Saturday at 6:30 p.m.  

Moving ahead into the season, the Eagles will host their first ever home match on Feb. 14 in a tri-match, going up against ODAC opponent Va. Wesleyan and then non-conference opponent Wilson.  

A week later, the Crimson & Gold will host another tri-match beginning with ODAC opponent Lynchburg on Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. and then will face non-conference opponent Juniata at 3 p.m. 

In march, the Eagles will continue their jam-packed schedule of events  including a matchup with reigning national champion, SVU at home on March 7 and a third tri-match at home against two ODAC opponents, EMU and Shenandoah, on March 21 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. 

Their final regular season match will be on Saturday, April 4 with senior day ceremony to take place prior to the matchup against Randolph at Nininger Gym.
