FOREST, Va. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced Friday afternoon the men's volleyball preseason poll and the first preseason poll for Bridgewater College in program history as the Bridgewater Eagles stand in the eighth slot. 

The reigning ODAC champions, Randolph-Macon, have captured the top spot in the preseason poll with 11 first-place votes and 121 points. Roanoke has sole possession of second place in the poll, including one first-place vote as the Roanoke Maroons were runners up in last year's ODAC championship. Randolph closely follows in the third slot. 

For the first ever season for Bridgewater, the Eagles have work to prove with the eighth slot slightly ahead of Averett at the bottom of the poll.   

The first match begins on Jan. 16 at Geneva. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
