RICHMOND, Va. - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) announced the selection of 711 teams from 415 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the fall of 2025. Bridgewater men's swimming earned this distinction, which is the highest academic honor in college swimming.
Bridgewater men's swimming made the list after a remarkable fall season in the pool and in the classroom.
"The academic commitment demonstrated by these teams is exceptional," said Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA. "These student-athletes continue to set a standard for excellence by succeeding at the highest level both in the pool and in the classroom, and the CSCAA is proud to recognize their dedication and achievement."
From the fall, the men earned a 3.20 GPA, surpassing the academic standard from the CSCAA.
Each team was required to post a team cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the fall semester, reflecting a sustained commitment to academic excellence alongside competitive achievement.
Leading the way with the highest GPA was Colorado for another straight year.
This is Bridgewater's first CSCAA academic award in over six years.
