Three Women's Swimmers Awarded All-ODAC Honors

FOREST, Va. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced the All-ODAC teams at the closing of the ODAC swimming championships last Saturday as the women's swimming team were garnered with three All-ODAC honors from the championship meet. 

Tessa Gorby shined in the four-day conference championship meet as a first year. Along with securing the ODAC Rookie of the Year award, Gorby was selected to All-ODAC First Team. Gorby finished second in the 100 free with a program record time of 52.30, finished second in the 200 free with a program record time of 1:55.26, and won gold in the 50 free with a program record time of 23.74. 

Grace Warren took charge at ODACs with All-ODAC Second Team honors while also being awarded the Bonnie Kestner Sportsmanship Award. Warren finished fifth in the 100 back with a time of 59.27, finished fourth in the 1650 free with a time of 18:08.06, and finished seventh in the 500 free with a time of 5:17.16. 

McKenna Curry was the third All-ODAC honoree and earned All-ODAC Third Team honors. Curry broke the program record in the 100 fly with a time of 58.45 to take fifth place.
