FOREST, Va. - The Bridgewater College women's tennis team was selected 11th in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's preseason poll.
Washington and Lee took home the top spot, taking home all 11 of the available first-place votes, while Averett received the Generals' first-place nod to take home second with 111 points.
Virginia Wesleyan (98 pts.) rounded out the podium places while Randolph (79 pts.) and Shenandoah (72 pts.) finished off the top five. Lynchburg (64 pts.) and Guilford (62 pts.) came home in sixth and seventh, while Randolph-Macon (53 pts.) and Sweet Briar tied for the eighth and final spot in the projected tournament field. Roanoke (44 pts.) earned 10th, while BC (23 pts.) earned 11th and Hollins (12 pts.) wrapped up the poll.
