BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Bridgewater College men's lacrosse team ended a two-game skid with a 10-5 victory over Shenandoah Wednesday afternoon.

After seven minutes of scoreless lacrosse to start the evening, Shenandoah got on the board first with an unassisted goal. Cooper Hann responded with a goal of his own with 4:43 remaining in the opening period to tie the score at one apiece. SU's Foughty scored his second goal of the quarter to put the Eagles in a 2-1 hole heading into the first break.

Following a Shenandoah goal with 1:09 elapsed in the second half, Bridgewater erupted for a 4-0 run over the the remainder of the third stanza and the beginning of the fourth. Beals scored his second goal of the meeting with 8:38 on the clock. Wagner and Wendler connected three minutes later to push the BC lead to two. Shenandoah was charged with a penalty during the final minute of the quarter, gifting the Eagles a man-up opportunity for the opening seconds of the final period.

Beals capitalized on the remainder of the man-up opportunity in the opening seconds of the final frame to continue the BC offensive surge. After neither team finding the back of the net for four minutes, Wendler found Riley Stewart with 10:05 remaining in the contest to push the BC lead to four. Shenandoah scored their last goal of the period with 6:36 on the clock. Beals and Linn scored in the final 3:30 of action to give the Eagles a five point lead, their biggest of the contest.
