FOREST, Va. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced Friday afternoon the 2026 women's volleyball preseason poll as Bridgewater was selected No. 4.
Ahead of the Eagles standing atop the leader board is Washington and Lee with 11 first-place votes. Lynchburg holds second with two first-place votes and slotted slightly above Bridgewater in the poll is Batten in third. Falling below BC is Randolph-Macon selected fifth.
Last season, BC played for the ODAC title for the first time since 2007 and the first appearance under head coach Erin Harris. This season, the Eagles are bolstered by a strong offensive group of returners including three-time All-American honorable mention honoree Reagan Stoop along with a steady setter Lindsay Kelley.
Beginning their first season with the Crimson & Gold, who look to bring a spark are Maecy Ann Frizzelle, Molly Gardner, Nora Van Horn, Madeline Dumais and Luci Tignor.
Entering the season, Erin Harris holds a 262-171 record at BC after guiding the Eagles to an impressive 21-8 season last year.
The Eagles begin action against Mary Baldwin on Sept. 1 on the road at 7 p.m., and the first conference matchup is scheduled for Sept. 25 against Randolph-Macon in Nininger Hall at 6 p.m.
