In the first match of the day, the Generals landed on the scoreboard with the first two points but Megann Grimes would put an end to the 2-0 lead with Bridgewater's first point, followed by a kill from Carleigh Studtmann to place both teams on equal ground. The Generals ended up pulling away from the Eagles but Grimes added kill after to kill to keep the squad afloat with Abby Mills chipping in a pair of her own. The Generals never relinquished their lead over the Eagles and would claim a 25-18 first set victory on a Bridgewater service error.
The second set saw Washington and Lee score the first three points until Rachel Kinsey had a pair of kills to get Bridgewater out and running. Although the Generals had a small lead, Grimes came out fierce in her attacks, scoring back-to-back kills to keep Washington and Lee within the Eagles grasp. Kinsey and Shannon Skellchock fought a valiant effort to catch up with two more kills but it would be a final kill by Mackenzie Shand that would secure the 25-20 victory.

St. Mary's tried to pull away with the lead but several errors made by the team would allow the Eagles to catch up quickly. Bridgewater stayed close behind for the rest of the set but was unable to hold off on St. Mary's winning 25-19.
In the second set, the Eagles came out fast with hard hitting attacks that landed them with an early three point lead. The teams would go back and forth with each other until an error on St. Mary's and a kill from Grimes tied the score 18-18. Although Bridgewater would manage one more point on their side, St. Mary's locked down the 25-19 victory on a final kill by Mandy Goodspeed.
A service ace by Studtmann and a kill by Temple placed the Eagles first on the scoreboard in the third set, but St. Mary's would quickly catch up before rushing ahead 9-3. Three kills between Grimes and Mills lessened the gap to 10-7, however St. Mary's always remained one step ahead of the Eagles.
