WEYERS CAVE, Va. - The Bridgewater College riders opened their season at the Southwest Virginia Hunter/Jumper Association show held at the Bridgewater College Equestrian Center.
Samantha Van Winter rode Bridgewater College's Montecristo to a first-, second- and third-place finish in the Green Hunter Division to secure the championship. Van Winter also rode BC's Arsenik to third place in the SWVHJA Adult Medal and a second-place finish in the Oak Ridge Medal Class.
Katelyn Dugan rode her own Sir Winston to a first-place finish in the Children's/ Adult Jumpers and a third-place finish in the Oak Ridge Medal Class.
Megan Cleary rode her own Caesar to a fourth-place finish in the Puddle Jumpers.
Olivia Persinger rode BC's Tug O' War to a third-place finish in the Puddle Jumpers.
Zellie Wothers rode BC's West Edition to a second-place finish in the SWVHJA Medal Class. Wothers also rode BC's Magners SCF to a double second-place finish and a fourth-place finish in the Hopeful Hunter Division which sealed the reserve championship for the pair. Wother's also finished first in the SWVHJA Adult Equitation on the Flat.
Caroline Shipe rode her own Judge Priest to a double first-place win and a third-place finish in the SWVHJA Adult Hunter Division which sealed the championship in the division for the pair.
Jemma Constant rode BC's Diamond Dutchess to a first and fourth-place finish in the Training Jumpers and a first-place win in the Randolph College Medal Class.
Shannon Jenkins rode Windy Springs Farms' Evening In Paris to a double second-place finish and a third-place finish in the Small Medium Pony Hunter Division.
Nina Cirucci rode BC's Raphaela to a fifth place and double third place finish in the Intermediate Hunter Division.
Megan Heffernan rode BC's Raphaela to a double fifth-place finish and a third-place finish in the Special Adult Hunter Division. Heffernan also rode BC's Regal Affair to a sixth-place finish in the Randolph College Medal Class and a second-place finish in the SWVHJA Adult Equitation on the Flat.
Katie Dunnock rode BC's Cool Silver to a first and second-place finish in the Training Jumpers. The pair also finished fourth in the Randolph College Medal Class.
Morgan Sowers rode her own Duke's Golden Playboy to a double first-place finish in the Puddle Jumpers.
Michaela Jeuick rode BC's Endeavor to three second-place finishes in the Intermediate Hunter Division. The pair secured the reserve championship for the division.

Hannah Foster rode BC's Title One to a fourth, fifth and sixth place finish in the Intermediate Hunter Division. Foster also rode BC's Ringo Star to a fourth-place finish in the SWVHJA Adult Equitation on the Flat.
Kara Kline rode BC's Title One to a double blue ribbon win and a second-place finish in the SWVHJA Pre-Beginner Equitation Division. The pair also secured the championship win for the division.
Izzy Ammendolia rode her own Wisewood Discotek to a first, third and fourth place finish in the Hopeful Hunter Division. The pair also secured the championship win for the division.
