BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- Bridgewater College men's lacrosse coach Mic Grant has unveiled his 2023 schedule, which was officially announced on Tuesday afternoon.

The Eagles kick off the season on the road as they head to Georgia for a string of games against Hendrix on Feb. 26, Piedmont on March 1 and Berry on March 3. Bridgewater takes the field at the Jopson Athletic Complex for the first time on March 5 with a 4 pm match up with Marian to begin a four-game home stand that includes contests against Misericordia, Ohio Northern and opening the ODAC slate against Ferrum on March 18.

Bridgewater heads to St. Mary's for a game with the Seahawks on March 25 before closing out nonconference play at home against Mary Washington on March 29. The Eagles open the month of April on the road at Washington and Lee before coming home to host Hampden-Sydney on April 5. The Eagles take on the newest member of the conference, Averett, on April 8 and travel up I-81 to face Shenandoah on April 12. The Eagles host Roanoke on April 15 and get a week off before returning to action in Greensboro against Guilford on April 22. 

The men's lacrosse team plays its final home game of the regular season on April 26 at 7 pm and close out the regular season at Randolph-Macon on April 28. The ODAC Tournament is set to begin on Tuesday, May 2, with the championship game taking place on May 6.

The Eagles are set for 17 games in 2023 with eight of those coming on home turf at the Jopson Athletic Complex. The slate features eight nonconference games, including six contests with schools BC will face for the first time. 

Last season, Bridgewater finished 10-8 and earned double-digit wins for the second time in the program's short history. The team featured five players on the All-ODAC listings and return three of those selections.
